Rymer in a spin at Brands

Terry Rymer had a disastrous time at Brands Hatch, Geoff Lister (his experienced
team mate) had provisionally put the PK Porsche second on the grid in the first
qualifying session. But disaster was about to strike after just two warming up
laps by Rymer, he entered the Surtees left hander and hit oil previously dropped
by another car and spun. Terry was just about to thank his lucky stars that he
never hit anything when around came a speeding Neil Cunningham in the Parr Dodge
Viper, he had nowhere to go and the unfortunate pair collided at over 90 mph.
It was the end of the meeting for both party's as damage to both cars was considerable.
Terry said "I'm really upset about the whole incident not only for myself but
for my team mate Geoff, and Neil as they won't be racing tomorrow, but I guess
that's racing. We'll have to re-group and win the next round at Donnington.'
